So, ever made artworks that technically seemed to fulfil all the criteria but which didn't make you feel anything and hence made you dissatisfied? Well I feel like that about what I came up with after a year's hard work. Sure, i might have gotten a good grade on my folio...but it was not what i like my art to be. Lately, I'd come to think of the artwork i used to make - artwork that was pretty...of landscapes and people and anything else i'd drawn or painted from a photo or life - boring. Insignificant. Meaningless. I wanted to make art that SAID something. That expressed my views. My ideas. My imaginings. I thought that that would mean it

Just uploaded a few things from my school Art folio. Thought it was the right time, since I feel I know what I'm trying to say now, and how I'm going to do that :). Art's going well, and when art is going well, life is going well. Relationship stresses are gone. Schoolwork stresses have mostly been destroyed. Friends are around, and I've sorted my mind out ^^ (always a difficult task). French toast, a roaring fire and Lipstick Jungle are always a good combination. V.

So I'm a Yr 12 Art student. Going crazy from the excess of ridiculous crap filling up my consciousness. This includes: 1) Annoying relationship stresses 2) The pile of HW I have to get done during the next 2 weeks 3) Wanting to see my friends at the same time and go out 4) And overall not knowing what I should be spending my time doing at any given point. Nevertheless my bizarre art teacher told me the best thing I've heard in a while: He said I should concentrate more on HOW I'm creating art than WHAT OF! Like OMG, and I'd always been so convinced I had to plan everything...structure everything...make sure it was all making sense. Ap

:D Hey you're welcome. No effort on my part. I can't help what I like xD. I stumbled across it when looking for something I could make an artwork from for my Punjabi friend :P he he. I'll check out your gallery when I have time ^^
thank you so much for taking your time and looking through my gallery
i really appreciate it
That's ok. I like looking at different work to what I do :).
Hello! i was wondering how can i put one of my pictures below the devious information box? like your room shown above..thanks [:
Hi. I had a look, and by the looks of things all i did was go "Edit Settings and Profile" then over at the left-hand column clicked on "Userpage Display" under "Public". From there if you look at where it says "deviantID" there should be a drop down menu. From there all i did was select the image of my room (the title was listed). I presume it was there because when i submitted the image to begin with, i submitted it under the ID category.
I hope that helped!
xo.
